Why does this forum exist?

We at Copperhill Technologies have been developing the VisualSizer software since 1997. Our main business since then has been the customization of VisualSizer-Professional for various motor manufacturers such as GE Fanuc, Oriental Motors, Baldor, Siemens Energy & Automation, Parker Hannifin, and many more. In addition we sold user licenses of the generic, i.e. manufacturer independent, version.

As of 2008 Copperhill Technologies has changed its business strategy and has become a publisher of technical literature. As part of this change we have decided to give up VisualSizer-Professional as a product and make it part of the public domain, meaning VisualSizer is now freely accessible to everybody (Reference: http://www.visualsizer.com).

However, we will be unable to provide technical support for VisualSizer users and have chosen this forum to help users help themselves. Also through this forum users are still able to communicate with the creator of VisualSizer, Wilfried Voss, but, yet again, the main objective is to help users help themselves.
